(1) When producing crude oil or natural gas, the contractor must install the equipment specified by the department to measure the flow rate of crude oil or natural gas.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the method of connecting the equipment or the process of measuring, calculating and calibrating the flow rate of crude oil or natural gas shall be as prescribed by the department.
(3) The basis and procedure for determining the relative weight and average temperature of crude oil and the quantity of thigrani (sediment) and water in crude oil shall be as prescribed by the department.
(4) If the crude oil or natural gas flow rate measurement equipment is damaged or cannot be used for any other reason, the contractor shall evaluate the flow rate using the best data obtained as approved by the department.
(5) Within seven (7) days from the date of completion of calibration of crude oil or natural gas flow rate measurement equipment, the contractor shall submit the calibration report to the department in the format prescribed by the department.
